This website, shivamstockbroking.com, and our WhatsApp Business number are run by Shivam Stock Broking Company, a proprietorship of Renu Devi Rungta (GSTIN 10AARPR5717J1ZF), regional business partner of Sharekhan. Registered office: 1st Floor, Sisodia Palace, East Boring Canal Road, Patna – 800001, Bihar, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Shivam Stock Broking Company.

This website is for our clients, prospective clients, employees and job applicants who want to know about us and get in touch. Client trading, demat and other accounts are opened and maintained by our principal broker, Sharekhan, which holds your account and KYC records under its own privacy policy. We do not open accounts or collect KYC documents ourselves.

2. Information we collect

• Details you give us through the contact, appointment and career forms on this website – for example your name, phone number, email address, your message and, for job applications, your resume.
• Messages, photos and documents you send to our WhatsApp Business number, and the messages we send you there.
• Basic website usage data collected through Google Analytics cookies (pages visited, browser and approximate location).

If you are a Sharekhan client serviced by us, our team uses the client details Sharekhan makes available to its business partners – such as your name, contact number and client code – only to serve you.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange an appointment or consider your job application.
• To help you with your Sharekhan account when you ask us, as Sharekhan’s business partner, and to send you service messages you have asked for.
• To meet our obligations under the rules of SEBI, the stock exchanges and other applicable law.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. WhatsApp

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta, to talk to clients and staff. Messages and files exchanged with our WhatsApp number are processed by WhatsApp/Meta under their own terms and privacy policy, and are kept in our systems so that our team can respond and keep a record. We message you on WhatsApp only about matters you have contacted us about or that relate to the Sharekhan account we service for you. If you do not want WhatsApp messages from us, tell us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email (details below) and we will stop.

5. Who we share it with

• Sharekhan, our principal broker, when you ask us to help with opening or servicing your Sharekhan account.
• Service providers who help us run our business – website and email hosting, cloud storage, and messaging (including WhatsApp/Meta) – only for that purpose.
• Regulators, exchanges, courts or authorities when the law requires it.

6. Storage, security and retention

We keep your information on secured systems, and only authorised staff can access it. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for longer where the law or regulators require us to keep records.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw a consent you have given, subject to the records we must keep by law. We handle personal information in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For your trading and demat account and KYC records, please contact Sharekhan directly, as Sharekhan holds them.
